The Summit begins with a keynote presentation from Dr Andrea Paetz (Director, Regulatory Policy, Bayer AG), who will examine the business value of REACH. The succeeding sessions on day one build on this theme, as they explore how REACH drives innovation (featuring industry case studies), together with evaluation and authorisation under REACH.
The focus of day two will be on supply chain issues, starting with a high level panel featuring regulators from the EU and USA, together with UNEP, who will examine how regulation is ensuring the safe use of chemicals globally. The following session will go on to explore Product Stewardship on both sides of the Atlantic, including best practice and supply chain issues. Day two concludes with a series of case studies to illustrate the pragmatic approaches industry has taken to overcome challenges in the supply chain. Look out for details of day three… coming soon!
