Prof. Dr. Paule Vasseur is Professor of Toxicology at the University of Metz. She holds a doctorate of pharmaceutical science and is head of Dept. of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Science. Her field of expertise is Ecotoxicology and risk assessment of chemical pollutants; mechanisms of toxicity of pollutants to aquatic and terrestrial populations (micro-organisms, invertebrates, higher plants), modelling ecotoxicological effects in an ecological perspective. She is an expert at OECD and EC level and for the French Environment Ministry.
