Description
With different legislations including or aiming to include limits for either specific or sets of PFAS, it is needed to accurately and precisely confirm their absence/ presence in aqueous environments.
A set of ‘official’ methods are available, albeit often accompanied by some uncertainties on their suitability for enforcement purposes.
The aim of the project is to help work towards some harmonised methods for the assessment of PFAS, particularly in aqueous matrices. To meet the aim of the project, the research team will focus on two tasks:
- Compilation and Evaluation of Standard Analytical Methods for PFAS in water
- Interlaboratory Comparison Study for PFAS Analysis in Water
