17th International Conference on QSAR in Environmental and Health Sciences

Start date: 13 Jun. 2016

End date: 17 Jun. 2016

The 17th International Conference on Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationships in Environmental and Health Sciences (QSAR2016) will take place on June 13-17, 2016 at the Eden Roc Hotel, Miami Beach, Florida, USA.

Ever since the meeting was established in 1983, the Conference has been an important international gathering in the field of Environmental and Health Sciences, bringing together scientists developing and using (Q)SARs. Over this same timeline, the field has evolved to where decision within regulatory agencies and industry are routinely based on (Q)SAR results. 2016 represents an important milestone for the field, as (Q)SAR models are now a regulatory accepted test for pharmaceutical impurities.

This workshop will bring together scientists from around the world, both developers and users of (Q)SAR methodologies, to explore new approaches and develop common understandings. It will include diverse presentations from all the major stakeholders and provide many opportunities to discuss and review the latest developments. The programme includes a number of interactive sessions, including a debate with live audience polling, lively discussions of current topics as well as poster and networking sessions. The workshop also offers opportunities for career development with many courses and an on-going “Jobs Fair” to connect employers with potential employees.

Cefic-LRI presents it AMBIT tool poster during the poster exhibition.
