The training “Kidney toxicity testing and best practices“ is organized by Center of Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT) a joint venture between University of Konstanz and John Hopkins University. The event will take place in Vienna.
The 2 days training will give an overview of the most relevant and robust 2D and 3D kidney cell culture models and in vitro tests applications for the assessment of kidney-associated cytotoxicity. Places are limited.
Evercyte, MIMETAS, and Biopredic International will walk you through their models in the lab.
Paul Jennings (Medical University of Innsbruck) as well as Martin Paparella (Environmental Agency Austria) will share with you their experience.
The format is the following: over 2 days there will be 20% lectures and 80% practices performed by the participants.
