The 61st Annual Meeting and ToxExpo organised by the Society of Toxicology (SOT) will take place from 27 to 31 March 2022, in San Diego, California (US).
More than 2,000 presentations will be delivered through Scientific Sessions, Continuing Education courses, Poster Sessions, and Exhibitor-Hosted Sessions.
Cefic-LRI will participate and present a poster on “AMBIT3 upgrade”. The AMBIT tool is an open chemoinformatic system designed to support companies by facilitating chemical safety assessment. Developed by Cefic-LRI, the software has the contribution of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) through sharing non-confidential REACH data to industry.
In AMBIT 3, comprehensive assessment workflows are developed for read across and category formation based on all the data available. It allows users to search for target and source structures through multiple similarity methods, generating data matrices, gap filling and automatic generation of assessment. The tool enables continuous integration of data sources recommended by stakeholders (ECHA REACH dossiers, Repdose VEGA, ToxTree, NanoReg, EFSA OpenFoodTox, USEPA CompTox Dashboard, etc.)
