The 21st Annual Cefic-LRI Workshop & Innovative Science Award Ceremony will be held on 20-21 November 2019, at the Steigenberger Wiltcher’s Hotel, in Brussels, Belgium.
Join us to hear all about the latest developments from LRI-funded breakthrough research in chemical risk assessment, with an exclusive session on “Addressing microplastic risk assessment: where next?“.
Open to all and free of charge, the event aims at gathering the human health and environmental toxicology community, showcasing the latest advances made through industry-funded research. It is an excellent networking opportunity for all scientists committed to working together towards the common goal of chemical safety.
Poster Session and Award Ceremony
The event will start on the evening of November 20 with a poster session and a Red-Carpet Gala Dinner for the 2019 LRI Innovative Science Award ceremony. The 2018 winner will present the findings of his research and this year’s €100.000 award winner will be revealed.
LRI research projects: key topics in human health and the environment
On Thursday 21 November, the workshop will feature presentations and posters on the most recent LRI research projects, covering key topics in human health (exposure modelling and assessment, in-vitro concentrations, carcinogen thresholds, etc.) and environmental (bioaccumulation, water solubility, adaptation of microbial communities, etc.) risk assessment.
