The 53rd Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology will be held in Bratislava from the 10th to the 13th of September, 2017.
The Scientific Programme Committee is preparing a programme with over 30 symposia and workshops that will highlight the novel findings in the field of toxicology. Four Poster Sessions and five Continuing Education Courses will offer a wide range of opportunities to enhance and enrich the professional experience.
The congress venue (new building of the Slovak National Theater connected to the Sheraton hotel) will offer an attractive space for exhibition and side meetings of EUROTOX members, affiliated societies, sub-committees and other scientific groups and thus will aim into strengthening professional relationships and networking activities.

Results of the LRI project “N5-FRAU: Histopathology of rats exposed to Barium sulfate nanoparticles by life-time inhalation exposure – Effects and Biokinetics” will be presented at EUROTOX 2017. On Tuesday 12 September there will be three talks in the 22 session: The first is from Lan Ma-Hock giving an overview of the study including in-life findings and lung burdens. Thereafter, Heinrich Ernst will present the histopathology of the lung. In the third talk, Joseph Brain will focus on the biokinetics of the nanoparticles.
